Recap of the Current State of Inclusion in the Archdiocese of Portland and the role of Oregon I.C.E. in the Inclusion road map.
9:00 – 10:45 Doreen Engel
  • Behavioral Issues 101: Introduction to Behavioral Analysis and Intervention Strategies.
  • How to work with family supports to identify and address/prevent behavioral issues in the classroom setting.
  • The role of Student Support Teams to enhance inclusion in the classroom. How to set them up, how to nurture them. Examples of Support Teams in action in Catholic Schools around the country, and their impact on inclusion.
10:45 – 11:00 Break and Q&A
11:00 – 11:30 Dr. Erica Pierson
Thoughts on behavioral issues and tips/resource information staff can offer parents.
11:30 – 12:00 Elizabeth Richard
Observe “Inclusion in Process” at Holy Family. Small group teams will observe various classrooms at Holy Family.

Working lunch, wrap up and feedback to Oregon I.C.E. on support needs/priorities.
