This is what Inclusion looks like! Marisa in 3rd grade at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School with two of her classmates. Inclusion means having the opportunity to get to know and be known by your peers. It means offering to all students the message that everyone counts and has value in our world, and that everyone deserves a place in the classroom learning alongside their fellow classmates. The benefits to all students in the class far outweigh any challenges.

Marisa is with the girls in her OLL class at 8th grade graduation. Many of these girls are going through the Confirmation program with her as well.

Eighth Grade Graduation, June 2018, Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School. Marisa was in school at OLL from 1st through 8th grade, and with several of these girls all the way through. They learned valuable lessons from one another as they went to class, attended school Mass weekly, went on field trips together and spent time together outside of school.

At Holy Family, the kids in the school know Joey’s name and he counts among his close friends those within his class. His smile says it all. He is at home.
Megan attended Our Lady of the Lake, where her older brothers went to school.
